Entry Qualifications Checklist

• Project may be submitted for any category for which it qualifies.
• All entries must be sponsored by an HRACRE member.
• Certificate of occupancy must be dated between January 1, 2015, and July 22, 2019.

Entry Restrictions

The name of the applicant and team members should not be on any plans, photographs, or in the description given to the judges for their review. If the project is being submitted for multiple awards, each entry must have its own complete package of materials in separate PDF files.

Entry Criteria Checklist

Please follow the entry instructions to ensure your submission(s) will be accepted. Also, ensure the accuracy of each entry submission. Submissions that do not adhere to the qualifications and/or entry criteria risk being disqualified.

Each submission must consist of the following:

1. A completed online Project Entry Form found at the bottom of these instructions.
   
2. A project file for judging. This file should be named with the project name only.
   Include in this file the following:

• Project Narrative (not to exceed 2 pages) following the requirements listed for the chosen category found at this link Category Descriptions 
• A cover sheet identifying the NAME OF THE PROJECT and CATEGORY for which it is being submitted.
• Follow requirements listed for the chosen category found at this link Category Descriptions
  
• Photographic support material to provide an adequate basis for a comprehensive evaluation of the structure and design to include:
  • One full page image per 8.5 x 11 page with photographer credit (when applicable)
  • All sides of the building - include a minimum of 6 that illustrate relationship to the neighborhood, surrounding area, existing buildings, etc.
  • Floor plan(s)
  • Site plan
• Renovation entries shall include before and after images.
• For Best Interior projects, one exterior photo is recommended, but not required. Site plans are not required.

Judges reserve the right to change which category an entry is judged in and award at their discretion. Awards are final.

Entry Deadline

Entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2019.

Notice

• The name, logo or icon of the submitting applicant and any team members should NOT be on any plans, photographs, or in the description given to the judges for their review. This Entry Form will not be viewed by the judges.
• Submittals will be on display at the Awards Program on November 7.
• HRACRE has the right to use/publish any of the documentation submitted, including, but not limited to, photos, graphics, renderings and drawings.
• It is the applicant’s responsibility to obtain all licenses and permissions necessary for HRACRE to republish submittal documentation.
• Submittal documentation that cannot be used by HRACRE in future publications or announcements shall be clearly noted.
