March 20, 2020-February flew by and I never wrote a message to our membership as I had intended. That’s not because there isn’t lots of good stuff to report, but mainly because so much is happening, I couldn’t stop long enough to collect my thoughts.
Here’s the quick good news:
We’re solidly over 500 members as of January; thank you Tom Atherton and committee. That success also is affected by grass roots promotion of HRACRE – so please invite a colleague or client to a program or event, remember to promote us to your new hires and staff members and generally remember to attest to your experience with HRACRE (I’m confident it’s positive).
We hit the Corporate Sponsorship goal for 2020. Thank you, Jan Hall, a committee of one.
Our first two lunch programs were great successes with capacity turnout at each.
Our first two New Member Orientations drew higher than normal attendance, and we’ve gained not only new members – but new committee members as well.
Legislative Committee mobilized to make sure our voices were heard on Capitol Hill. Thank you, Julie Gifford, Josh Thomas and committee, and to our lobbyist Phil Abraham.
Intern Committee is already at work preparing a great experience for our next generation of real estate professionals.
Golf Committee has also started work putting together for this ever-popular event.
So, what are we focusing on now? We want to fill out our committees. We want your participation because that’s where we learn what our members want, hear new ideas, and are informed of the area’s goings-on. And truly, that’s where you’ll get the most out of your membership and buildyournetwork. Please join us. There’s plenty of room. And there’s something for everyone.
