The 2021 HRACRE Summer Internship Program is moving full speed ahead!  Although we do not know what the summer will have in store for us, we at HRACRE are committed to providing a meaningful program for both the interns as well as participating companies, whether we are in-person, virtual, or a combination of both! Please be assured that YOUR safety and health are our #1 priority.

The student application & the employer sign up process are now OPEN!  In addition to having the opportunity to learn about many aspects of the Hampton Roads commercial real estate industry, we are hoping for in-person meetings, informative sessions and tours,  opportunities for the selected interns to meet and talk with industry experts, and a chance to interact with  other participating interns this summer!

2021 Prospective Interns 

HRACRE is a commercial real estate association comprised of various industry professionals such as developers, economic developers, municipalities, contractors, architects, engineers, attorneys, appraisers, bankers and brokers. The HRACRE Internship Program was established to attract the best and brightest students to Hampton Roads and to improve their understanding of the commercial real estate industry. Participating member employers select intern applicants for interview; selection of interns and matters of compensation are left to the employer’s discretion. During the internship period students will have an opportunity to participate in educational programs by leading industry professionals, a speed mentoring breakfast, tours, luncheons and numerous opportunities for networking. Certificates and awards for top participants will be announced at the closing luncheon.  The HRACRE 2021 Summer Internship Program will run for 6 weeks, from June 7th to July 16th.  So in addition to interning with one of HRACRE's member companies, the students will also have the opportunity to participate in planned programs, events, networking, and tours approximately twice a week throughout the 6 week period!

Please note: The HRACRE 2021 Summer Internship Program will follow any State of Virginia mandates in place at the time due to the pandemic.
